Ultrasonic cleaning allows to eliminate any residual impurities transmitted during the finishing phase or during cutting or moulding. S&G has a sophisticated ultrasonic washing that degreases the product thanks to a special solvent.
The washing cycle is divided into 3 phases:
Pre-wash: the pieces are immersed in a tank with solvent at a certain temperature and the heavier impurities are eliminated.
Washing and degreasing: the pieces are immersed in two other tanks always with the same solvent but at different temperature and at different strokes of ultrasound, in order to remove any residual impurities.
Passage in the vapours: the pieces are sent to a last tank containing the same solvent but vaporised; this phase allows a greater final cleaning.
We then proceed with the quality control, in which each piece is checked by a specialised operator who checks the absence of impurities on the product and, for greater control, performs the marker test.
S&G never forgets how important the environment is, for this reason it has an active carbon absorption system that allows us to eliminate harmful emissions in order to protect the nature and health of our operators.
