The powder coating differs from the liquid-based treatments for the dry process which uses different types of coloured powders, produced with synthetic resins, as raw material.
In this type of painting, the conveyor vehicle is the air which is mixed with the powder thanks to a special electrostatic gun. The adhesion of the powder to the surface to be coated occurs thanks to the electrostatic effect, i.e. the fact that the powder is subjected to a negative charge process while the material on which it is to be applied is grounded.

After being painted, the product is dried in a special oven where times and degrees vary according to the powder used and the material on which it is applied.

The powder coating, in addition to varying the aesthetic appearance of the product, also acts as a resistant film that prevents damage from scratches, chipping, cracking or discoloration.
S&G offers a powder coating service on any product and size, guaranteeing quality and timing.
