Polishing, or mirror polishing, is a fairly delicate finish that gives the product a special touch, as it makes it so shiny that it will emit reflected light; and hence the definition "mirror".

Polishing steps

Polishing is usually achieved through three stages:

Deburring

The product undergoes abrasion in order to eliminate various imperfections due to shearing, moulding or cutting.

Grinding

The product is smoothed with various abrasives (belts, discs, etc ...) until the best result is obtained for the subsequent phases.

Polishing

The product is smoothed with special pastes and cotton pads until the required mirror polish is obtained.

Thanks to the experience and our machinery department we can decide with the customer the best process for each item. We can proceed with polishing on special automated islands , on automatic rotating machines or manually, thanks to our operators who on motors with inverter give the right polish finish to the product.

Treatments and Materials

Polishing can be finished with various treatments; among the most used:

In the case of some materials, after processing we proceed ultrasonic cleaning and then to marketing without any particular application.

Strengthened by the experience gained year after year, we work different materials: without any problem we perform brass polishing, aluminium polishing, zamak polishing, stainless steel polishing and copper polishing.
