Grinding

Grinding is the phase that makes the product uniform and ready for subsequent processes (polishing, satin finishing, etc.). With this process the product is deprived, through the use of abrasive belts or pads, of imperfections such as burrs, welds, casting residues or sharp edges.

Usually, to obtain perfect abrasion, the piece is treated several times starting from coarse grain belts to get to a fine grain.
S&G performs both manual grinding and with the help of automatic continuous machines or special automated islands.
