The satin finish, also called scratching, is an increasingly requested finish, especially in the world of design.
This process gives the product an opaque appearance transmitted by the abrasives used, such as bear-tex, scotch-brite or surface conditioning.

In S&G this finish is obtained through different methods, or through automated islands specific for this type of processing, or, manually, thanks to the experience of our operators who working on motors arranged with inverters manage to obtain the right satin finish requested by the customer.

Satin finishing is in great demand in the design market as the result makes the product refined and modern, but it can also be applied to other objects, for example on surgical tools because thanks to its opacity in direct light the product does not emit annoying reflections.
